Meet your classic schoolmaster. At 16-years old, Moose is the kindest horse you’ll ever meet. An American Sport Horse, Moose is truly a gentle giant, happy to work with riders of all levels, whether they’re just getting started, learning to jump cross rails, or thinking about joining the show team. Moose has many years of training and showing under his belt. He has rated show experience in all 3 arenas, but is happiest these days doing the hunters or equitation, from ground poles to the 2’6”. Moose loves attention and has perfect ground manners in the cross ties. If you are looking to lease a super consistent horse with heart, manners, and athleticism, Moose is the horse for you. Some ponies are unicorns, and Pegasus is one of these! An incredibly quiet senior pony--he turned 18 this year--Pegasus has years of experience in both the lesson ring and the show arena. While this 13.3 pony has competed up to 2’, Pegasus is happiest navigating a ground pole or cross-rail course these days. A true head-turner, Pegasus gets attention wherever he goes. This sweet pony comes out of the paddock the same every day, ready to teach another student the foundations of horsemanship and equitation. He takes his job very seriously and looks forward to meeting his next kid. Available for in-barn lease only at Corralitos Riding Club.

We call her “The Marvelous May” because she earns the nickname every day. Kind and gentle, Mayberry never puts a foot wrong, whether she’s in a walk/trot lesson or making her way around a 2’3 course. A lovely, elegant pony, Mayberry is quiet enough to do the hunters; she loves to jump and could easily handle the .60s-.70s as well. Truly an all-around pony star, Mayberry also boasts perfect ground manners and 3 smooth gates. At 16-years young, the Marvelous May is a seasoned horse show veteran. You’ll understand his nickname when you meet this charming pony! Marshmallow absolutely loves his job—the more attention he gets the better. No pony has ever worn a unicorn costume with better style, but Marshmallow is as fancy under saddle as he is darling in costume. Marsh came to us looking a bit too squishy, but he has been on a fitness program for several months and is back in shape and a central part of our lesson program. A Welsh-cross, this pony is a magnet for adoring children! He is so smooth that anyone can ride him, from the teeniest tot to a youngster ready for flat classes, poles, and cross-rails at home or at horse shows. Marsh is the easiest of keepers who also loves going on trail rides around the property—a good thing, because hill work helps keep this little guy fit as a fiddle. Are you looking for a super fancy and quiet pony? Come meet Buttons, a gorgeous grey super-star in the making! Buttons is only 8-years old, but this Welsh-cross already has horse show experience and automatic lead changes. He is a gentle guy, smooth as silk under saddle, with 3 lovely gaits. Buttons will clean up in the hunter arena. If you ’re a beginning rider looking to have a great showing experience, or a more-experienced exhibitor looking to step up from ground poles and cross rails, Buttons is the pony for you!
